birthday bash and busy weekend.

We had a vey busy weekend. Thursday my parents arrived. I was working, but my parents entertained my kids and that was great. Friday my parents took the kids to run some errands and I worked. Sat was a very busy day. We started the day with football practice and the in laws and my family went to see it so I stayed back and got ready for the party. Plus, I have seen several practices and they are all the same. His practice was over at 12 and the party was at 1 so we had to hussle around to get everything finished.
We had the party and it was a Batman party. Now, I know seeing from the picture of the cake there is a gasp of the villian the Joker.  I just want to let everybody know that he knows that the joker is a bad villian and makes wrong choices, but the look on his face when he saw the cake was priceless. he screamed and said "the joker cake" He was not allowed to have a joker party nor he is allowed to be the joker for Halloween as he has requested a couple of times.
It was a really fun party and they get more exciting  each year.
After the party my SIL and MIL and 2 neices stayed awhile to visit, which was nice since we do not see each other much. I was so tired by the end of the day and just wanted to go to bed,but we needed groceries so bad that I had to go the store.
On Sunday, we went to church and heard a great sermon and then Kendric wanted to go the T rex restarunt for lunch so we went there and had a great lunch and visit.  We had taken 2 cars so my mom and the kids went to run some errands. Ok, so I am not a sewer and I went into Joann fabric's to get some fabric and I could not believe the lines in that store. Wow, we were in there for almost 2 hours just for a yard of fabric. yikes. My kids were spent and I was as well. When we got home, there was a 40% coupon in the paper for Joann fabric's. that explains it!!! Needless to say that was the only stop we made.
We arrived home and just relaxed. I was pooped and being almost 37 weeks pregant did not help one bit.
After a refreshing night sleep and the departure of  my parents, boo,  we set up the baby's room. We have the crib up and my dad painted Ryan's old dresser and the changing table  and bassinett are in there. The decorating will come soon. I will post pictures when it is completed.
I feel better now that it is ready for her whenever she decides she wants to join the world.
After all that we took the kids to the park and then to the olive garden and they both LOVED calamari. Who would have thought that. I am so happy they do because it is the best.
We spent the rest of the evening relaxing and preparing for the work week ahead.
That was our weekend. Hope you all had a nice long weekend.
