The Amish village

My kids were off of school in Friday because of conferences and I knew I wanted to do something fun with them but not to expensive. My friend has taken her kids to jamesport Missouri to the Amish village and they have so much. It was about a 45 min drive, but so worth it.
It was very cool to learn about the Amish and there culture and how they live and what they believe.
I wanted to teach the kids about the way the Amish live and how we have it pretty easy.

-all of us at the Amish cafe. Good down home cooking .she has 4 girls and I have 3 kids so a lot of kids. The waitress asked us if we were were keeping up with Amish . Ha!

The gift shop had the coolest things.

We were trying to get through lunch without something happening . Something always is bound to happen with that many kids.

Exactly 7 chairs

One of many horse and buggies.

Kaelis wanted to spin and spin. I thought I was going to throw up watching her. I was never like that. I guess that comes with old age!

So in this small little house, a family with 10 children and a slave all lived in. How did they survive without going crazy?

I was loving all the bags if candy at the gift shop. I bought alot.

Lots of pumpkins and a horse.

It was so peaceful there . So pretty with all the leaves turning .

Do not see this very often in a public restroom.

The gift shop had Cinnamon bears. I love those things.
We had so much fun. It was something different and we made memories. I would definitely go back again.
