Snowmaggden

I have sat down so many times to write this post and something always comes up.
We have had so much snow in the last week it is crazy.
I am ready for school to start back up again. Hopefully tommorrow.
The kids love the snow and I do as well, but there comes a point where I am finished with the snow and ready for flip flops and capri's.

Break and casserole

Well hello there,

I cannot believe it has been 2 weeks since my last post.
Well I am hoping to catch back up with everything.

I have been doing some exploring on Pinterest for new recipes and I found a few.

I made chicken taco casserole. It was by sixsistersstuff.
It was so good. I usually do not get seconds, but I did with this.

It is very easy to prepare .
Chicken Taco Casserole
Ingredients:
1 (10 oz) bag tortilla chips
2 (10.75 oz) cans cream of chicken soup (I used 98% fat free)
1 1/2 cups sour cream (I used light)
1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes and green chilis (Ro-tel)
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning
3 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
2 cups cheddar cheese

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch pan.
In a large bowl, combine the chicken soup, sour cream, Ro-Tel, black beans, taco seasoning and chicken. Set aside.
Crush chips (I just crush them with my hands) and spread half of them on the bottom of the pan. Spread half of the chicken mixture over the tortillas. Top with 1 cup of cheese. Repeat layers.
Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbly and cheese is starting to brown.
I used black bean refried beans because that is what I had on hand , and it was just as good .

Well I hope to not take a long break for awhile , but sometimes life gets in the way.

Hope all is well

A week in pictures

Fridays always seem to come so quick, which is not a bad thing.

It's time for instaFriday again.

-I needed new glasses and I took her with me and she had a ball trying all the glasses on. So cute in all of them.

My basketball star who scored 4pts during his first game. Way to go!

We made a crayon wreath for cadence's 100th day project.

Well I guess the new crave is the vine. I thought I would give it a try and it is really cool what people do with videos they take. Follow me and I will follow you. @coleyclark30

It's rough being 2.

It was 70 here one day last week and I loved it and opened my window in Jan. say what?

Happy 100th day of school

Love my 31 family organizer. Lets see if it works. I need a way to label the pockets though.

Shrimp and broccoli for dinner. All 3 kids love it. Shocker.

Have a great weekend!
