Honey Granola Bars

I made these bars the other day and they were really good and my kids loved them. It is really hard to find healthy bars or muffins that my kids will eat. I had my kids help me make them and even knowing what was in them they still ate them! I turned it into a school lesson as well.


Learning Concepts:
Shape reinforcemnt(for my toddler)
taste discrimination

Mommy Materials:
3 cups low fat granola
3/4 cup dried fruit or nuts( chocolate chips if you want to make it sweeter)
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 tsp. vanilla extrat
3 egg whites,lightly beaten.

You can replace the honey with Peanut butter or applesauce.

These were yummy!
