Not as hard as I thought it would be.....& really yummy recipe.

I have had several problems with my tummy/digestive system. I have a failing Gall bladder and I thought that was part of it,which could be,but I decided to go a different route of eating, not just so my stomach issues would go away, but I havesome added skin around my waist line thatdoes not need to be there.
Several of my friends have gone wheat free and have seen such a difference in weight and just feeling healthy. I decided to take on the challenge and see if I could do without wheat and low carbs. I thought no way, there would be nothing to eat.
It has been 3 weeks and I have seen such a difference in the way I feel and the way I look. I am down 5 pounds already and really do not miss the wheat at all. The hardest time a day is breakfast. I miss my bagel, cereal or toast. I have found several cereals in the organic section of the grocery store and tried some of those and they are all really good. When I eat pasta, I make rice noodles for me and then wheat ones for the rest of the family.
I never realized that wheat had such a impact on the way you felt or looked. I am not sure I will give it up completely and forever, but I will monitor it and watch how much of it I eat.

I made these cookies the other day and they were really good. Wheat free of course!

3 mashed bananas (ripe)

1/3 cup apple sauce

2 cups oats

1/4 cup almond milk

1/2 cup raisins (optional)

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon
Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes

on another note: I have heard the google is doing away with google connect. How frustrating. Now I have to figure out how to keep all of you. I joined bloglovin and will post my link. What other things are you doing to make the switch?
