Happy Birthday to my sweet 6 year old

Today my oldest girl turns 6. I cannot believe how fast the years fly by.
You are such a sweet, tenderhearted, sassy diva, girl. I am so glad God gave me to you. Life would not be the same without you in it. You keep the sassyness of the house in check.
  We love you so much.

Wow, how they change!

Thank goodness for microwaves

I am a big coffee drinker and honestly that is first thing I think about in the morning.
I go for a run shortly after getting up and I do not have coffee until I get back and showered, but I am thinking about it when I am heading toward the last few mins of my run . Crazy I know.
Well usually as I am gearing to take my first sip and enjoy some quiet time, I hear little footsteps coming downstairs and having a sip of coffee by myself is no more.
As moms we always feel tired and sometimes overwhelmed, and I am so needing that little boost of caffeine , savoring every sip I take, but I always put it in the microwave to be warmed up.
Instead of being annoyed that the coffee is cold, I pray to God to give me the boost I need and let him be the caffeine I need.
He will encourage me, he will guide me. He is my cup of coffee and will fill it more than coffee will.
I love being a mom and at times will feel like I can never catch up, but we always do when God is with us.

Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the Lord, will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk not be faint.

Trip to Ohio

We took our annual trip to my parents house in Ohio. It is so hard living 600 miles from my parents. My heart breaks everytime we have to leave and watching the kids be so sad. We are praying that something comes up job wise for Ryan in Indiana{we are working on it} so we are only 200 miles or less from them.  We always look forward to spending the week my parents. We always have a joyous time.

*we had no idea C was making the peace sign
*our annual post at the waterfall
*goofy sister poses
*water color fun with Aunt Kristen
* I love my superman....this was dinner on a train
*Summer picnic's
*water fun in the big ball. (this is so much fun)
* Kendric and Ryan took a trip to NFL hall of fame
*Summer drinks and fancy straws
*My nephew who I have not seen since last June. I love him
On Wed Ryan and I went Skydiving. Wow!!!! What a experience. One of the best experineces of my life. If you ever have a chance to do it, Jump!!! You will not regret it. I got a little air sick, and took a while to recover, but I would do it again in heart beat. Just the view from the sky, is breath taking. That was the highlight of the trip for me.
My parents were not very good at taking pictures,so this is is the best I got.

Art fun

Happy finally hot and sunny summer!
Today I sent the older 2 to summer school and I took Kaelis to an art class. It was so much fun. She had so much fun.
They read a book and did some activities that went along with the book.
I loved having that one on one time with her.

Water beads were her favorite. Have you ever played with these? They are so neat.

Hope your Monday is awesome.

BTW.... We are shopping for these now!

Being a parent.

Parenting is one of the joyous things on earth, yet it can be so unprepared,so hard and so exhausting. On days when everything goes smooth and everybody is getting along, it rocks my world.
On days nothing goes right, no one is getting along,so unprepared, it makes me want to go into a little hole.
I always thought the 3rd child was suppose to be easy, laid back,no problem.... Well my third child is nothing of that sort. She is a bruiser, wants independence, very stubborn and most of the time is screaming from not getting her way.
I pray for strength and peace everyday. I pray that I will survive the day and not get uptight or impatient.

Life is a learning process and I need to teach life lessons, but I question if I am prepared to teach those life lessons, when I still need teaching myself.

When everything is calm and the day has been filled with memories , I sit all cuddled with my 3 loves and embrace the moments I have left with them. I soak in every little look and cuddle they give me.
One day it will be gone.
I will make it another day, just need a little encouragement.

Potty training

These have been my days lately. Cleaning up accidents and then doing some praising for the little turd I found in the potty.
It's the anticipation of being diaper free, but yet a bittersweet moment of saying goodbye to my baby and hello to my toddler. It's that last ounce of baby stuff I have around the house. The diaper fresh smell and the playful moments I have while changing the diaper.
Life happens so quickly, I need to stop and smell the diaper.

Love the cute undie bottom! Makes me want to just squeeze it!
