InstaFriday

Happy Friday!

It's time to share pictures from the week.

I am linking up with Jeanette over at life rearranged.

Cadence has her 100th day of school last Friday and the tally marks is what she wanted. We just used colored tape. The ends were curling, which she was not a fan of,but I thought it turned out great.

This smoothie is so yummy. Greek yogurt , almond milk, blueberries ,raspberries ,banana, strawberries and some spinach and chia seeds. Blend all together and enjoy.

So fir some reason I still watch the bachelor and bachelorette . If I look past the drama, it's a good show and I love it when the couples stay together. Cadence and I were watching Sean and Catherine's wedding.

- It is so cold in the basement where I work and a lot of the time I will wear scarves to keep me warm. This one is my favorite from the Gap. Right now you get 35% off your order. Best purchase ever!

Hope you all had a great week and I am @coleyclark30 if you want to follow.

Scarfs

So I have not always been a scarf fan, but this past year I have learned to love them.
I thought I would share a few of my favorites.
I have to say the Gap is one of my favorite places to buy them. They last forever and they have so many different varieties .

I love just simple crowl necks

I like these light weight scarfs to wear with tank tops or just to add a little color to a shirt

Love the contrast and different patterns

Go get them here and they are 40% off right now. what are you waiting for? Run!!!

2 of my favorite things

Ok so as a working mom with 3 young kids, my life is busy, fun chaotic and not easy at times, but dinner can be a cinch using my 2 favorite things.
I love how my crockpot does the cooking. The preparing can be a process depending on what you cook, but I always do the prep for the week on Sunday and it is finished! Can I get an amen?

And then these. Whoever invented these liners is the bomb . I cannot use my crockpot without these anymore. It makes clean up so easy and fast. Kinda wish I would have thought if it. Darn!

I thought I would share a favorite recipe of mine that I cook in it.

Chicken noodle soup .
Just a classic easy recipe

1lb chicken breast boneless skinless
2 bay leaves
2 cups carrots
1tbsp parsley
1/2 tbsp thyme

8 cups chicken broth
1 package egg noodles or rotini

Put all ingredients in crockpot except noodles and cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Cook noodles separate and them add right before serving.
It is so good and my kids gobble it.

Now if you do not use the liners, hurry and run and get a box, you never use your crockpot without them again.

Scared

I have fears of clowns and mice and death and getting lost and never finding my way back. Even though these are fears and real ones and they scare me,but the one thing I am scared of is not being the mother I want to be. We all have our moments where we feel like we are doing everything wrong, but in the long run we are doing everything right. Make sense?

Sometimes I feel like I am the best mom and then most days, I am failing them. When I mean failing, I mean not making them  read enough or doing something for them just to get it done. I feel like I am sometimes so invested in Social Media that I forget that I have 3 needy children who want a mommy to play a board game with them,or hide and seek or just cuddle with them. Why is it so hard to accomplish these things? Am I that tired by the end of the day that I have no energy for them, but instead I exhault it all in my fingers shopping online or facebook or Instagram?

I need to focus on my children and I want them to be the mom I was and am and I want them growing up knowing they had a mom that was awsome and fun and I want my girls to be that kind of mom, but am I failing them?

I think it is ok to admit that sometimes I failed that day or I really messed up and that the next day is a whole new with new adventures and that I feel like I am teaching them not to fail and its ok to make mistakes. We are human and we do make mistakes, but I think I need to slow down and enjoy those moments and give myself more grace.

I want to lead by example and know that it is ok.

Anybody else Scared of failing?

In the meantime, here are something's happening

Sickness. Poor girl

Poor boy...

Cuddles with my girl

Kendric started basketball and so far is doing really well.

Santa clause bought an elliptical for me so I do not have to run in the cold. I hate to do it anyway, but in the cold, makes it worse. Kendric was having a good ole time working out.

Awsome reminder

I love when I walk upstairs and see them having a tea party with kaelis.

Hopefully my posts will back soon.
