Banana Apple smoothie.

I decided to look way back through my posts. It is crazy to think I have been blogging for 7 years. 
 I came  across this post from 2009 and it reminded that to this day we still make this smoothie, but have added a few more ingredients. 
 I wanted to share the recipe again and add a few more recipes.






2 frozen bananas
2 peeled apples
1/4 cup of milk( I now use almond milk)
Strawberries (1/2 a bag of frozen)
Blueberries( 1/2 a bag of frozen)
Handful of spinach 
Handful of kale
Chia seeds 
Walnuts
2 scoops protein powder (peanut butter, almond butter I use for the kids)
1/4 cup of Greek vanilla yogurt 
1/2 cup of water( if it still seems thick add more water)

I add it all to the blender and blend. The kids love it and ask for it every morning still. 
I decided to still post the old pictures, just because it is unreal how young they were.

Yum! Sounds similar to one of my girls favourites.. and we always make extra and I freeze the rest as iceblocks! Yum!!
