Well it's been a long time since I have posted. I know I have lost some followers, but those who still are, thank you and hopefully I am back.
We have had quite the changes in our life and I will save that for another post and I had to focus on family and getting through the struggle and hard to put this blog on hold.
So on with the yummy recipe.
I am always looking for quick healthy snacks to grab really quick and something my kids will eat.
These balls are so good and my kids LOVE them and it's hard to find something they ALL like. The ingredients are things you probably already have at home.
3 cups oats
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
1 cup natural peanut butter
1 cup honey
1/2-3/4 cup mini chocolate chips.
*i like to use my pampered chef meat grinder thing to mix these ingredients! I also use the small scoop and scoop them onto a cookie sheet. Refrigerate for a bit to set up and then put in container. I store mine in fridge!
*you could also add nuts if you wanted!!
I have used almond butter and added flax seed and chia seeds. The options are endless.
On another note, time has come to sign this peanut up for kindergarten. It is so bitter sweet for me being this is my baby.
God has special plans for this girl. I cannot wait to see it and watch her get more independent and grow, but I wish I could stop time and just soak up all the little girl I can.
